Spanish Village

The largest private development in Coral Gables broke ground in early November. Old Spanish Village, a seven-acre assembly of homes, offices and shops on the eastern curve of Fred B. Harnett/Ponce Circle Park, will not open doors for a couple of years, but anticipation of the project is already here.

Developers are taking the early villages theme to create upscale condominiums and townhomes which will coexist next to shops and offices over three blocks in the crafts section of Coral Gables. Expect to see lots of water fountains, plazas, courtyard entrances and other features of Mediterranean architecture. To see additional renderings of the upcoming development, click here.

Nuevo Projecto: Old Spanish Village

El proyecto de construcción “Old Spanish Village”, el más grande de Coral Gables, comenzó a principios de noviembre. Esta aldea que se extenderá por siete acres y que incluirá viviendas, oficinas y tiendas al este del Parque Fred B. Harnett/Ponce Circle Park, no abrirá sus puertas por unos cuantos años más, pero existe ya mucha anticipación por el proyecto. Los creadores del proyecto están usando el tema de las aldeas originales de la Ciudad para crear condominios y townhomes de lujo que coexistirán al lado de tiendas y de oficinas por tres cuadras en lo que se conoce como la sección artesanal de Coral Gables.
